Fast X: Flashback
This was an early scene that got cut. I had to quickly tell the kid's emotional story, AND accurately reveal to the audience that this is a familiar action and location, but from a completely DIFFERENT viewpoint than we've ever seen...
The idea here was to start off in this kid's own world, using soft BG and sound design...
...with this first wide shot of the police in the street, true fans will recognize this intersection from Fast 5!
At this point I was just thumbnailing, making up placeholder shots & locations to hit the broad beats of the kid's sad story...
