The Director, DP, and I walked this FREEZING location outside Cleveland to block the specific shots and stunts. My notes became the overhead drawings, then this storyboard.
I always try to be specific with any car mounts, and only draw shots we can actually achieve.
Normally I draw several more angles to cover stunts, but I cut this down for clarity here.
A small scene like this may only have intermittent traffic control, so I show BG traffic if that has been discussed in planning.
Overhead drawings like this are faster to draw & revise than storyboards, so I often start like this.
